On Your Marks...

Church service this morning was early and short, to give everyone who was running in the Sutton Fun Run time to get to the starting line. (It is actually called something else these days, as you can see in the photo, but I'm sticking with the old name.)

I ran this in the old days when it was 10 miles (8.5 now) and was actually a FUN Run - never crossed our minds to train for it.

Still a fantastic atmosphere - 7000 entrants and thousands raised for charity. Lovely to see whole families running together, wheelchairs, pushchairs, and even a fire engine being pulled by the firemen.
