Our Grandson Is One Year Old!

Today we celebrated our grandson's first birthday.  His mom made him a baby cake that he could dig into and a separate cake for everyone else to share after we had all eaten sandwiches and chips and fruit for lunch.  After the food and visiting, it was time to open the gifts and as you might guess , the birthday boy was as intrigued by the papers, boxes and bags the gifts were wrapped in as he was by all the delightful gifts that came out of them!  The gifts will be enjoyed over the next years of his life, the wrappings will be gone after today and Grammy and Grandpa are grateful that we got to be at the celebration today.....
