A Journey of 2,000 Miles

begins with a LOT of packing.  No, we are not cycling across the country.  No, that sweet blue e-bike is not mine. Yes, a visit to Bike-In Coffee today.  Yes, we are driving to spend time with the family.  Four days on the road, then a meet-up at Virginia Tech.

Björn enters 9th grade in September, time to start thinking about where he will go to college.  Not really, but I do want to put a bug in his head because Tech, with an excellent academic credential, is a beautiful school set in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The musician and I fell in love in Blacksburg and were married on the campus in the outdoor amphitheater.  We think it would be swell if our grandson went there, too.
