Today I baked

Damnonii has mentioned empire biscuits from time to time in her blips. I have no idea what it is and how it tastes and she kindly gave me the recipe to try! Thank you! So I tried it today! It is busy cooling now and seeing that I have a few people over for a coffee tomorrow morning, we are having empire biscuits a la Damnonii! I think I made it too thin, but no problem, next time I will make it thicker. It looks yummy even without the icing and jam!
