This huge kite is a cuttlefish. It was made in New Zealand to the specifications of the kite flyer. He was fixing a problem with one of its tentacles. The swivel kept sticking so as the red end turned it would wind up the bottom of the tentacle. We spoke while he worked. He and his wife have several kites I’ve blipped before. The pink pigs. The whale and a manta ray. Zuanich Park where we walk is a great spot for kite flying. There’s almost always wind blowing in from the bay
