Raindrops on rose

I woke before 6 feeling fully rested for once. Outside it was blue skies and sunny. Once up I put on washing and spent some time updating diaries up till the Crete holiday. And I found myself some cheaper insurance, about a quarter of the price, with the provider I used on my 19/20 trip. Interestingly it has some cover for carer issues. Did this mean I'm expected to have one? 

Then to the garden. The clouds had arrived but it was very warm. There was one shower but it went over quickly. Spent the day weeding, pulling out self seeded marigolds, finally planting the nasturtiums summer pruning and doing some other tidying up. I finished, apart from some deadheading in the front just as the forecast heavy rain arrived, and the washing was dry. 

Spurred by Y's new purchase I started to browse cars. I do need to change mine. I also looked at summer EVs. Used there is not that much difference in price. 

Cooked dinner, listened to the radio, fascinating 'Infinite Monkey Cage' about bees v wasps then went to bed to read.  It was still raining.
