Murrumbidgee River

Change of plan…..after paying for 2 nights at Lake Bonney we found out our caravanning relatives were on the road over towards the east about 600km away. After some negotiations we left a day early and met up half way at Balranald. We had both changed our travel plans over the last week and it just happened that we found out in time to meet for the afternoon and evening. We saw them last year and they are heading off for 5 months. Great to catch up. 

We sat and chatted until dinner time and we walked up to the services club for our meal. Our camp site is in Balranald on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.
