Finally the floor is put down today. It took most of the day to glue down the tiles and then fill the gaps with grout. But the young guy doing it was quite meticulous and it looks great. So we hung around the house again all day getting little odd jobs done. Thankfully it was cooler and we could open the windows to get the glue smell out. In the evening we walked down to Dollarama for a few things and no matter which of the two ways we go we pass over this creek which is swollen once again from all the rain.  Yes I know, our Friday nights are not very exciting.
