longhorn beetle

Another stinking hot day. We decided to go for a walk in the Grunewald. The lake Krumme Lanke was absolutely packed with people (see extra). I guess sitting in the shade of the forest is probably a good idea. The weather was bearable in the forest. Stopped for a drink in the dog walker beer garden. I was quite chuffed to find the red-brown longhorn beetle.

Otherwise I have been preparing for the photo.picnic next Sunday in the Mauerpark where I plan to show one of my panoramas of Edinburgh. I have also made a little magazine to go along with it.
