High Fliers...

Well, as you can see from the extra, Duxford was having a busy day and anyone wants to see 'WZ RR' in more glory than today's cloudy skies allowed can click here: Aviation photographs of Code Number: WZ-RR : ABPic   This particular spitfire was accompanied by a biplane and it was obviously running (flying) rings around it as they circled over the village a few times before heading back to base.

So, that was going to be my blip, but just I was going back inside, this little beauty flashed past and settled on a nearby tree. It's a Jersey Tiger moth, a species which is active in the daytime and apparently it's relatively rare.  I've never seen one before and I had to google a bit to find out what it was.
