Rust In Peace

I don't know what this vehicle is/was, but it is just one of many ancient bits of machinery parked at the Chain Bridge Honey Farm, just over the border in Northumberland. 

We got some heather honey, and some hemp tea, then drove (slowly) over the newly re-opened and beautifully restored Chain Bridge,  on to Eyemouth for a walk around the harbour, eating ice-cream in the sunshine. 

Then to St Abbs for a rather more energetic hike. All in all, an excellent, unplanned day out. They are the best kind. And the sun shone all day. Now we're braced for a thunderstorm.
