Hand Plucked

After a poor night's sleep we've had yet another  busy day. I woke about  5am and was interested  to find the local pair of foxes nosing about in the garden again. The grey squirrels have  become bolder too, and one came into the dining room today, through the open French windows!
I went food shopping in our local small town of Northwood, this morning. There is a rather wonderful fruit  shop there, where I bought a couple of boxes of these delicious (hand plucked, no less!) honey mangoes.
This afternoon we were back at the hospital  to see our Aunt. She was all right but just hoping she 'll get her chest  catheter procedure tomorrow.
Our journey to the  hospital takes us through parts of Harrow where  my sister and I spent the first decade of our lives, before  moving to Northwood,  and  we try to look out for familiar landmarks  as we drive along unfamiliar  new roads and through  new housing estates. We both  enjoy a blast of nostalgia, despite the  unexpected and unwelcome circumstances of  our journeys to and from the hospital.
