Happy Birthday

Yesterday was the cats 1st birthday. I'm ever so glad there are 4 year olds in the world whom understand it is their role to make the effort for little creatures. Yesterday we did Nowt. Actually I gave him some tuna scrapings.
Today E-L was in town and came over with sausages, rolls, and home made cake (Aunty Jasmin had helped facilitate this I think) and candles. Apparently there was a card too but that got a little bit much and ended up in the bin in an artistic meltdown.
Alas it was a bit much for Orph too, who only reappeared after the singing and candle blowing.
She said she didn't want to buy him presents. That was for his owners to do. She would buy him something for his 2nd birthday. A long term relationship I see a bit of commitment from this lass.
I got him a cat brush today, in anticipation of the party. Admittedly that is more for my agenda though.
