Summer storm

We drove down to Savannah today , arriving around 3.00. After checking in we went for a wander around the historic old town looking at the lovely squares with fountains and beautiful live oaks covered in Spanish moss. Ending at Forsyth Square we started to walk back , stopped for a G and T and got caught in the most torrential rainstorm! We had to shelter in the restaurant for quite a while , finally giving in and getting an Uber back to the hotel. After a shower a lovely evening riverside walk to find dinner. Very hot however.
