Sallys woodland garden

Today was very peaceful- a wander round S’s lovely garden first thing which she has laboured over for 4 years. They have a massive plot of land but a large portion is what is known as ‘ core land’ belonging to the US army core of engineers and they aren’t allowed to do anything to it so it just remains heavily wooded. The area round the house is subject to daily predation by deer, rabbits , squirrels and so keeping a garden has proven very challenging for S. However it’s lovely now , with masses of flowering plants and constantly abuzz with so many varieties of bees! 
The afternoon we spent on the lake in the pontoon boat :)
