Blame Canada

Continuing my occasional "birds we never look twice at" theme (this is #2), here's a Canada Goose taking a dip in the early evening sunshine.

Hey, fact fans: Canada Geese were introduced (from Canada, of all places) to the UK in the 17th century, as part of King James II's wildfowl collection in St James' Park.

Nowadays they're bloody everywhere, but pelicans are restricted to the park. Bah.
