It's finally ready !
I tried it a few days ago and it was still noticeably yeasty, but now it's nearly clear and tastes rather good. Just a slight haze on it, as you can see.
Reading the forums it seems that it's a kit that gets better after a few more weeks in the barrel - but it's quite drinkable now... smooth, well balanced, with a sweet note throughout that sits next to the hoppiness in the middle, and turns to a slightly burnt caramel towards the end, and a quite dry aftertaste.
All in all I'm rather pleased. :-)
