A 44 year Old Newspaper: August 14 1968

Which is only slightly older than me. I discovered this stuffed into a blocked up vent when I removed the (presumably) 44 year old kitchen.
Houses were considerably cheaper than now: £7,250 for "a detached bungalow residence" in The Riddings, Coventry. These go for anywhere between £350k to £500k these days, more if they have had planning permission for another property in their large gardens.
