After The Gardeners Had Left

A visit to the GP surgery this morning for my husband to have his routine blood tests done.
 
A u3a end-of-year photography group meeting this afternoon, looking at the pictures from our theme for last month which was “old”. All pictures for the theme should be taken during that month. However, this month we were all allowed to submit three pictures from our “archives”. We looked at all the pictures before having refreshments and then had plenty of time to chat to each other.  I was given some roses and a little cash, as a thank you for doing the teas, not necessary, but much appreciated.
 
The gardener’s visited today and today’s picture is after they had cut down one of the shrubs and tidied this small section of border. To see it before the gardeners worked on it, click here. Our gardeners were going to bring a trellis, but at the last minute could not find it, so a temporary one has been made for my grape wine and everlasting sweet peas to climb.
 
The temperature at noon today was twenty-two degrees Celsius.
