Not swinging

I double checked the name of this bridge on Google maps (Victoria Swing Bridge) and was surprised to see that it's noted as being "Not busy". Hardly surprising as it's been closed to traffic for years and only one footpath is currently open to pedestrians. They're nearing completion of repairs and redecoration works but the workers were off for lunch when I popped by today.

Luckily for me it was dry at lunch. Later on it tipped down!

Had a frustrating day at work for many reasons, but I'm glad to be home. Popcorn the cat has decided I need a rest and some company so she's plonked herself down on my lap. That or she was feeling cold.
