Clutching at Straws

Both of us clutching at straws today.

I had driven 2 hours to get to see these guys and when I rocked up just before lunchtime there were none about. I won't tell you as this is a family site what was going through my brain after an hour here. 

The Norfolk Hawker is obviously by name happy in Norfolk so it is a joy to see them.

I walked to the other lakes and took a few shots ( read into that what you will as I seem to have no control of myself and the multi shot use on the mirrorless camera.......)

Have bought from the cafe  a Cornetto as there seemed to be nothing else to keep me going, I headed back to my pond/lake  - just to sit. No obviously NO on that one. I had failed miserably and intended even if it meant wading the dratted lake to get a shot I would!

I got this and flight shots which sound great if they weren't at a distance/blurred but I'm not unhappy with the flighty extra.
