Moffat

An early start for a long drive back to England. Breakfast in Dunblane, elevenses in Moffat and lunch at Tebay.                                                                                                    This church, St Andrew's Church of Scotland, will reopen in the autumn after a significant modernisation. We were allowed a quick look in to see how the work is progressing. The space is really lovely. It will enable the church to be used throughout the week, not just on Sunday and will be more accessible and available for a wide range of private and community events. I could imagine Eddi Reader packing the place out. (other singers are available, but Eddi would be amazing) 
The exterior of the building is beautiful too. Pic in extra. The brickwork is excellent. 
So, 8 days in Scotland. Rain for part of every day and most  of some days, but nothing stopped every day being exciting and memorable.
