Feeling hot, hot, hot

Today it is cloudy again and quite cool, but spotting this Red Hot Poker on my morning walk immediately conjured up sunshine memories of the Garden Route in South Africa, where they grow wild. We've driven this road many times and it never fails to thrill.

I also downloaded some interesting shots of the sun, veiled by cloud and looking like the moon, but I chose this because it seems the contrasting colours give a 3-D effect, making the flower stand out, tall and proud.
