MonoMonday - signs

The signs in our village which either annoy, frustrate or amuse drivers. 20mph zone changing to 30mph - most don't stick to 30 let alone 20.  Humps - yes those are there to slow people down - haha!  Or hopefully rip into the bottom of the low slung speed merchants card hurtling through the village, especially at night!  Bus stop - still there on a road where the bus service was altered so that the bus doesn't go up there any more, stranding elderly people at the top of the village. Actually I understand that particular bus does go on that route once a day, but not much help to most who used to use it. And the blank sign - it was a diversion sign explaining that access was not possible to St Ives Estate due to the tree felling. That has finished now and the sign removed but the backboard is still there, and will probably stay there for weeks until the "right people" come to collect it - or sometimes nobody comes and locals eventually move the board to the side of the road. Rant over :-0))
