Not sure if they are polar opposites but atleast  in different hemispheres  so here we are in Sydney Nova Scotia, not Australia.   We are here after a rather indfferent drive up what is called  the Fleur-de-lis trail by the coast, we never really saw the sea, but many many fir trees. We passed through many little communities, some with quite a heavy French influence, l liked the thought of the one in extra, there was a lower Framboise too.  Nice to live in a place called Raspberry although l suspect it was an area rather a place as l never saw any houses.


Sydney is is situated on the sea and our hotel looks out on to the water, its a rainy day and we will stay local pottering about the neighbourhood.
