190/365 Rat-a-tat-tat

I do like a good door knocker and I'm always on the look out for them whilst walking around. There are a lot of lion's heads I've noticed.

Some are quite weathered looking whilst others are well polished, Brasso I suppose, All shapes and sizes too in brass, silver, and black being the predominant colours.

I do keep a folder within my Lightroom photos that contains a lot of door knockers photographed over the years. Am I sad? Also folders for shop windows, signs, and hats, to name a few. I call them 'ongoing projects'. Hmmm......
