Sunny Sunday

We had planned to go a favourite forestry walk up behind Drymen this morning, but when we got there it was closed for tree felling. So we went a little further afield.

It was a glorious, sunny day. Our dog walks at the moment are a fine balancing act between tiring out 1yr old Daisy and not exhausting 13yr old Bo. We chose a walk that had plenty of opportunities for all the dogs to get a cooling dip if they needed it. Daisy will dip no more than a toe, so it's just as well the heat doesn't seem to bother her.

After our walk, we thought about treating ourselves to a pub lunch, but the place we had in mind was really busy, so we headed home to enjoy the sun in the garden instead. A lovely way to wind up the weekend.
