A trip over to MK this morning.  No pain au chocolate, sigh!

We were delighted to see the vicious road hump that had been put at the entrance and exit to the car park had been removed.  There must have been a lot of complaints.  

The garden is a disaster.  I swept the patio on Sunday and yesterday it was covered in lime tree husks and their tiny seed heads.  They’re even smaller than the silver birch seedheads that we can expect later on, so difficult to sweep up.  Also, everything under the trees is covered in a sticky sap caused by aphids.

I think this is a harlequin ladybird pupae.
