At the end of the day

A busy day today. We had friends over last night, and their daughter stayed for a sleepover with our eldest. We got up, had Belgian waffles with syrup and bacon for breakfast, then went for a swim, then Nando's. Up to the guest's house to return her to her parents, then I drove her father back to our house whereupon he could recover his car.

Finished the photobook of Australia, and ordered it. Then cooked up a few burgers with last night's overprovisioning. Emma helped me cook, as part of her Brownie Cook's badge.

A nice, large, glass of Pimm's enjoyed in the last rays of the day, set off a perfectly pleasant Sunday.

This'll be my tenuous entry to the WBC challenge on the theme of "ray".
