Sibling love

Zeus and Iris , kitten siblings , born in April. They look so sweet and calm, but they are flying around the rooms most of the time. We had a bit of a situation last night when their mother had caught what was probably a small coypu ( still very much alive) and was wanting to bring that inside, maybe to teach the kittens how to hunt ? The dog was acting very wild, and  obviously we didn’t want to have a rodent ( dead or alive) in the house and neither did I dare to try to free the critter from the mouth of mother cat. So I let the dog go outside and hoped the mother cat would let go of her prey. They made an awful racket outside but in the end returned unharmed and without the rodent back home.
