Chicken à la King

Chicken à la King. Beer: Paulaner Lager.

This is the surprisingly un-German lunch (except for the beer) we had in Regensburg today. This was part of a last minute arrangement, because it was determined there wasn't enough water in the Danube for us to sail to Regensburg. Today we bussed to and from Passau, and, with an earlier start, had the day originally planned in Regensburg. A similar adjustment is planned for tomorrow, except that we only bus one way; we will be swapping ships at Nuremberg with a cruise with our itinerary in the opposite direction (our bags will moved from our cabin to the same cabin on the other ship while we're in the city). Viking's reputation for handling this sort of eventuality relatively seamlessly was one of the reasons we decided to book with them.
