To the Lighthouse!

The world-famous Lighthouse at Beachy Head, seen from just below its predecessor, the curiously named Belle Tout.

The missing chunk of the cliff top to the right of today's Blip is the result of a 2021 cliff fall that took away part of the old clifftop track up to the lighthouse that I and many others have walked in the past.

Belle Tout lighthouse has already once been moved inland in 1999 to protect it from cliff erosion. One wonders how much longer it can remain in its present location.
