Admiring the View

We've had the engineer installing the full-fibre connection today. I thought it would be simple but nothing is simple with telecoms in a house on a steep hill. It's the poles and the angles that the wires run at. Oh, and the fact that the road turns a corner where we are doesn't help!

Anyway, he made a call for reinforcements and they were here a lot longer than they'd anticipated. Fortunately it didn't rain as the telecom route was quite close to the electricity cable. It all got done and seems to work fine. 

it's the things that don't happen that make the difference. We've watched a film without it stopping to buffer. That doesn't usually happen even though we were supposed to have fast internet before.

Fortunately, I took my blip early in the day as insurance. I liked how the gull seemed to be enjoying the view from his vantage point.
