Indoor Tree

We met up with my cousin and her husband today for a meal to celebrate her and L’s birthday in the next week.  

We visited the Three Tuns in Lichfield, which has had a number of different changes of ownership in the time we’ve known it. This latest incarnation uses the original name of the pub but the interior design is a million miles from the original pub.  This is an upstairs area and reminded me of the spaghetti tree that was in the restaurant area of the Bel Air nightclub at the Belfry Hotel in the 1980s.  I’d worked as a barman at the Chalet pub, that was converted into the Bel Air just before the 1985 Ryder Cup.
