Favorite shot of…

… Washington DC as we fly into National airport: you get the entire length of ‘The Mall’ - the strip of greenery that runs a couple of miles and has all the monuments below the Washington Monument (the obelisk) and all the free museums above it.

At the bottom is the Lincoln monument and at the top is The Capitol building where our elected officials spend a lot of time doing nothing… ;)

And yes, that means we are back :)
