Peaceful spot on a special day...

This is is one of the lakes at Holme Fen where my friend C and I like to go and share a cup of tea and enjoy this most tranquil place. Most of the time, all you can hear is the sound of the geese which live around the edges. We very rarely see anyone else there so have rather come to look upon it as our own special place.
C and I have known each other for exactly 34 years having met in the maternity unit on the morning that our sons were born. We both called them Thomas Andrew...
