Survivors

The different basil plants survived the heat so far.
The one in the purple pot on the left was very sad looking on Monday, but with a bit TLC including lots of water it now looks like new.

We had a little rain last night and today wasn't as hot. It feels just lovely to sit on the balcony now. It's still hotter in the room than outside. When I came home and opened the kitchen door, it felt like walking against a wall (that's what it feels like when the attic above you has no isolation and neither has your ceiling). Down to 27°C inside after 90 minutes with open doors and windows in all rooms now.
