Seeing single

On the 16th February I was really quite taken with the idea that I had a new window on the extension and the old one was still in place. Now I am quite taken with the idea that the old crappy one is gone. I love the new one, I love the fact that it represents a new era in this lovely old house. It was built in 1735 and back then, the room that is now my kitchen was a separate building. It was the dairy. I am very pleased I had added my mark on this place too.

Today has been mainly manual labour all day but it did begin with a trip to the hairdresser so I can't complain.
