Ice cream break

Tim and I decided (again) to give climbing a miss for today, and went for a good long walk over to the park and all round the heath instead. This was the first thing we saw as we stepped onto the heath - a perfect line of police officers enjoying their ice creams at the edge of the funfair. None of the photos I took today came out brilliantly, as I'd been photographing the chilli babies beforehand and managed to leave my camera with nearly a full stop of negative exposure compensation :(

As we headed into the park, we could see something was going on on the far side of the heath, so when we came back out of the park we headed over there to see what was going on, and discovered it was the Hero Ride - thousands of cyclists all taking part in a cycle ride in support of Help for Heroes.

Wrote all our wedding party invitations this afternoon, ready to send during the week. Can't believe how quickly it is rushing up - and still so much to do!
