Tramtracks (widwed120723)
A day of two halves. In the morning we took a look at Sidmouth, significant for Gill as it was one of her father's favourite places. I've put a pano looking along the sea wall in the extra.
My blip is from the afternoon, we were in Seaton for a trip on the tramway - somewhere we visited when our children were young. Much developed since then (30+ years!) but a good afternoon, the trams are 2/3 scale and run on the trackbed of a railway closed in the time of the Beeching cuts.
Plenty of straight lines where it passes through the wetland nature reserve so one for Wide Wednesday hosted by Bobsblips.
Sidmouth has a lively go-ahead look about it, Seaton, sadly frayed around the edges.
Thanks for the continued visits to my Corfe Castle blip putting it on the popular page.
