Perspective distortion.
Camera illusion to get all the building in shot! This new NHS Scotland development is coming to fruition at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, built in what we knew as Car Park 3. Fortunately the project has factored in a new Car Park 3 not too far away! Work on site started at the end of 2021. This is another new cancer assessment and treatment unit; it contains two linear accelerators which target cancer cells in tumours, and more happens there too. The new unit has links to adjacent existing radiotherapy department. There’s wider ongoing redevelopment too, for instance we noticed construction work at the research and other unidentified buildings.
My wife was taken on time, the waiting area cool and calm. A cup of WRVS coffee was purchased as we left the centre. We’d a walk at Cramond promenade afterwards, it became part of the routine when we first visited here back in the day.
