Swans and owls

I popped down to see how the swans were faring. There were three of them down on the canal tonight. Usual stuff, preening, scratching . . .  
Then I saw an owl about half mile away! I got a poor shot with the evening light on it. Only here for an aide memoire.  One day I will endeavour to get a closer shot but I'm guessing the owls will soon have reared their young and head off.
