On The Beach - 2013

A glorious sunny day on the north Devon coast.

Walked along the Southwest Coast Path from the Watersmeet Hotel (see previous blip) along the beautiful 2 mile long Woolacombe Beach, and out on to Baggy Point at the west end of the beach.

British beach life does appear to be largely fuelled by chips and ice-cream. Vans like this and the local cafes were doing a roaring trade. This picture was taken early in the day before queues built up.

And yes, we did have some chips (from one of the other providers!).
