Ginger

I believe that's what this is. I planted as one plant last summer and thought I had lost it over the winter. We bought a small Crepe Myrtle tree and when we planted it, apparently we broke up the bulbs of the ginger plant and now there are several growing at the base of the Crepe Myrtle. I rather like the way they look and now blooming too.  In Extra, a small grass plant with delicate purple flowers which I've forgotten the name of.
