A stranger

I've never seen ducks like this on the pond before, anyone got any ideas - he was large the size almost of a goose. There is a whole family on the small pond - a female and 3 juveniles. I prefer the shot of mum and babies but this shows his markings off better.

*edit* I think they might be DOMESTIC OR MANKY MALLARDS the wonders of Google :)
