Crumpets
A while ago, I decided I’d make crumpets, so I bought some crumpet rings. This morning, I had an urge to make them.
I used Paul Hollywood’s recipe; what a palaver. They take weeks because they have to prove with yeast, then rise with sodium bicarbonate. It’s a good job I wasn’t starving hungry and wanting them for breakfast :/
Warburtons have nothing to fear; Paul Hollywood has let me down, he has let Mr Pandammonium down, but – worst of all – he’s let himself down.
