Tough Mudder Remnants
Today was the second and last day for the Tough Mudder, New England.
I congratulate all those who completed the 12 mile obstacle course. It made me tired just looking at them.
I was amazed to see this big pile of shoes and sneakers that the Tough Mudders donate after the race. There were about 15,000-20,000 participants. I was told that they are cleaned and then sent to under developed countries that are in need.
It was a wonderful event, and the shear determination of men and women astounds me. One of the obstacles was to run up and down the mountain 4-6 times! That is a ski mountain! And it was 93 degrees and sunny! Plus, they probably all had burned heads, after we gave them all mohawks!
