Could this be Red-Breasted Mergansers?

Hope I am right but if I am not I am sure someone will let me know.

Great walk this morning past Carrick Castle on a track to Ardentinny. Saw a pair of Gannets diving(didn't expect that!) and this beautiful pair of Mergansers on the water. That was after watching a submarine being escorted out - did think of making that my blip - but as I am more in to birds than submarines the birds had to come first!

Stunning place to visit and walk - well worth a visit!
