Jump for Joy

The pond goldfish have removed their life jackets - The danger has gone but is now causing the eastern part of Bavaria problems. It looks like the city of Passau will have the biggest flood since 1954 ( otherwise a good year: not only did Germany win WM but amongst others Angie was born, Merkel that is, not mine). Looking very serious there & in the area around Rosenheim, Berchtesgaden. Luckily so far no human casualties.

Now it's cleaning up time, ready for better weather due later this week. We may be able to do without central heating soon. Swimming pool is still untouched this year so probably will set about cleaning it out - might as well use the pumps that are lying around.

Would be wonderful if this was the last Blip about cold, wet weather for the next 6 months - have spent the previous 6 months Bliping nothing else.
