A view from the lake.

Over there near the right edge and at the foot of one of the birches you will see a small red structure to the right of the white boat. It is actually the mooring cradle for our rowing boat from within which I made this photo today while the expert pirate, Kirsi, did the rowing. I am rather proud of that cradle which I knocked up myself out of various bits of timber I found around the yard. Only the actual winch is shop bought. Makes launching and retrieving the boat so much easier.
